We ask that you do two things following the workshop:


1. In order to receive full 3 hours credit for a MCATFL Fall or Spring Conference we ask that within one week you send us a lesson plan that demonstrates something that you learned at the workshop.

Fall Conference 2015- Technology Workshop

The assessment assignment will ask participants to develop a lesson that uses on-line tools or resources.  The product will show an understanding of the web tool or resource itself, how to integrate the tool or resource in a lesson plan with clear learning goals and objectives, including assessment, and an understanding of how the use of each tool or resource will promote student engagement.

The lesson plan, or other product included all the required elements, showed a complete understanding of the basic concepts presented in the workshop, and went beyond the basic expectations of quantity or quality of work.

The lesson plan included all the required elements: 1.appropriate selection and use of web tool,

2. learning objectives, and

3. assessment, and showed a complete understanding of the basic concepts presented in the workshop.

The lesson plan included most of required elements, but was missing something in either the product or the documentation of understanding of the basic concepts presented in the workshop.

Little or no evidence of follow-up work or documentation of understanding of the basic concepts presented in the workshop was submitted..

Spring Conference 2016

The assessment assignment will ask participants to find an example of authentic material on-line and build a lesson plan using it.
